Zorc has now confirmed the club wish to make the 21-year-old’s loan move a permanent one, though he admitted Real hold most of the cards in the negotiations.
“We will have talks with ?Real Madrid in the next few weeks,” he told Sport Bild, as quoted by ?Goal. “The decision is not up to us, but Achraf’s great development has, of course, not been hidden from anyone in Spain either. He feels very comfortable with us. They [Real Madrid] know that we would like to keep him.”
Hakimi played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday night as ?Dortmund were dumped out of the DFB-Pokal at the hands of Werder Bremen.
The Moroccan has proved an integral part of a Dortmund side looking to be crowned Bundesliga champions for the first time since 2012.
