?Arsenal fans have taken to social media to plead for their club to sign Spain and Real Madrid attacker Isco this summer.
The 25-year-old stole all the headlines over the international break after his hat-trick helped sink Argentina as Spain smashed six past the previous World Cup runners-up.
Isco’s quotes following the match raised a few eyebrows as he suggested that he just cannot get along in Madrid and with manager Zinedine Zidane. The Spaniard said he does not know what he can do to prove his worth at Los Blancos, hinting at his possible departure.
It has since emerged that Real Madrid would be willing to sell Isco this summer as part of a squad overhaul. Reports from Spain (via ?Football.London) state that Isco has a £650m release clause, but could be available this summer for £75m.
This news seemed to set a fuse under a lot of Arsenal fans, who immediately took to Twitter to say that Isco should top the list of the Gunners’ transfer targets:
“In Madrid I don’t have the confidence a player needs.Maybe I’m the problem in Madrid. I don’t know how to win Zidane’s confidence.”
The perfect Cazorla replacement if there was one. We should go for him. Would be pure class at Arsenal. #AFC

I literally remember tweeting this last season??? YES HE WOULD. He kills it at CM, but unfortunately I think he’ll have an absolutely SUPERB World Cup and his fee will be above £100m

??Arsenal would face an uphill battle to sign Isco. Not only would Arsenal have to likely break their club transfer record to land the Spaniard, Champions League football may be must for a player like Isco and Arsenal’s best chance of qualification likely lies in a Europa League win.
The Gunners will also face competition from other clubs. ?Manchester City a reportedly willing to double Isco’s wages in order to bring him to the Etihad stadium. Atletico Madrid are also reportedly interested and it is expected that more clubs would lineup to sign to attacker.
