Real Madrid 9-1 Granada: Ronaldo hits five in easy win for Blancos

The Portuguese star was on fire in the Santiago Bernabeu while Gareth Bale netted one and Karim Benzema hit a double as they strolled to the three points

Cristiano Ronaldo was the star of the show for Real Madrid, scoring five goals in their 7-1 win over Granada on Sunday.

Gareth Bale opened the scoring for the Blancos before an eight minute hat-trick from Ronaldo saw the game wrapped up before half time.

Karim Benzema added another in the second half before Ronaldo fired home a fourth, only for the French striker to cap it off with another goal to make it 7-0.

Robert Ibanez gave Granada a mere consolation goal as he beat Casillas in the 74th minute. It got worse for the visitors from there though, with Diego Mainz scoring an own goal and Ronaldo added further misery for them with a fifth goal.
