Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke believes Saturday’s Champions League final with Real Madrid will be a highly tactical, complicated match.
The Spanish sides meet in Lisbon, with Diego Simeone’s side hoping to complete an extraordinary double, having sealed the league title last week with a 1-1 draw at Barcelona.
Koke is hoping that he can lead his side to further glory in the Portuguese capital and is expecting a long and hard battle for the the Champions League crown.
“Our day has come. We have reached a Champions League final after a long fight and are performing very well. It’s going to be a complicated game and very tactical as both teams are tactical,” he told Marca.
“They are very good in attack and we know how to defend well. It will be a great game and a special final. I hope I’m in the starting XI can defend my shirt, this emblem and give my all in the Champions League final.”
