The Real Madrid forward threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Dodger stadium after wowing the crowd with kick-ups and meeting some famous faces along the way
Cristiano Ronaldo is used to amazing spectators with his skills on the football pitch but the Real Madrid star looked out of his comfort zone as he chanced his arm at a different kind of pitch.
The Portugal attacker took to the centre of the Dodger stadium – where Madrid play their second pre-season match on Sunday – to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Los Angeles Dodgers faced the New York Yankees, but not before he wowed the crowd performing keep-ups with a baseball.
Ronaldo came over all bashful as he met actor Samuel L Jackson, but it was basketball legend Magic Johnson who appeared star struck in the former Ballon d’Or winner’s company.
The £80 million man should perhaps stick to using his feet after his first pitch flew high and wide after a long wind up. He apologised and fortunately did a lot better second time around.
