Ronaldinho, Beckham or Drogba? Pick your Goal of the Week

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo won last week’s competition, following his powerful strike against Panama. The Real Madrid star collected the ball on the edge of the penalty area and unleashed a low drive into the bottom corner.

As always we select our favourite five strikes from the Goal Show and ask you to pick your winner.

Thiago Neves
Vasco da Gama vs Fluminense

First this week is Neves’ superb volley. He would later convert a free-kick to secure Fluminense’s fifth win in six games.

Cruzeiro vs Atletico Mineiro

Goal two is another strike from South America, but which fans of European football well be all too familiar with. Ronaldinho, the former PSG, Barcelona and AC Milan star scoring a wonderful solo effort for Atletico.

David Beckham
LA Galaxy vs Isidro Metapan

Another former Milan man is at number three, as old Golden Balls returns to Goal of the Week. The Manchester United favourite scoring direct from a corner in a match which also saw Robbie Keane score, and be sent off.

Inigo Perez
Athletic vs HJK Helsinki

The Bilbao club are looking to go one step further in this season’s Europa League having lost in last season’s final to Atletico Madrid, and Perez converted this free-kick in their crushing 6-0 victory.

Didier Drogba
Shan’ Luneng vs Shanghai Shenhua

And at number five we have former Chelsea star Didier Drogba. The Ivorian powerhouse combining with another ex-Blues man Nicolas Anelka to score for Shanghai.
