Mourinho has won it all whereas Stramaccioni has only just started, says Milito

Diego Milito feels it is premature to compare Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni to Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho as the two are at different stages in their career. However, the Argentine striker does believe there are similarities between them.

Stramaccioni was recently likened to the flamboyant Portuguese coach by Inter president Massimo Moratti, but Milito believes it is too early to make any such comparisons.

“I’d prefer to avoid this discussion. Mourinho has already won everything throughout his career. Our current coach on the other hand is only at the beginning of his,” Milito was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.

“The thing they have in common is their ability to get the right message across to the players and to get the best out of each of us.”

The prolific attacker then went on to stress that he is thoroughly enjoying life at the Nerazzurri, adding that his current side will be his last club in Europe.

“I’m really happy at Inter and there is still plenty of time until my contract expires in 2014.

“We’ll see what happens, but I’m sure that Inter will be my last European club.”

Milito has netted five goals in 10 Serie A appearances this term.

Real Madrid – Zaragoza Preview: Los Blanquillos look to spring Bernabeu upset

Real Madrid are expected to name a much-changed side from the one that beat Alcoyano midweek in the Copa del Rey for their Primera Division clash with Zaragoza at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Cristiano Ronaldo will start, but Sami Khedira, Alvaro Arbeloa, Fabio Coentrao and Marcelo are all injured and Xabi Alonso is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards.

Zaragoza, meanwhile, are still without the injured trio of Maurizio Lanzaro, Ivan Obradovic and Adam Pinter.

The Aragonese outfit will also ring the changes after resting a number of players for the Copa win over Granada on Wednesday.

  • The Castilian giants are on a 20-match unbeaten run at the Santiago Bernabeu in all competitions (W17, D3).
  • Gonzalo Higuain (pictured, right) needs three more goals to reach the milestone of 100 Liga goals for Madrid.
  • Zaragoza have won their last three matches across all competitions.
  • The Aragonese side have lost five of their last six meetings with Real Madrid.
  • Only Osasuna and Granada (both eight) have scored fewer goals in La Liga this term than Zaragoza (nine).

Ibrahimovic could play with Cristiano Ronaldo, says Raiola

Mino Raiola, the agent of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has stressed that his client could play in the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo without any problems.

The Real Madrid star was recently linked with a move to PSG, and even though the club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has stressed there has not been any contact yet, Raiola believes that Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo could form a lethal partnership.

“I am confident that Zlatan and Cristiano could achieve great things together at Paris,” Raiola was quoted as saying by Le Parisien.

“Great players never have any problems to play together. At Barcelona, Zlatan never had any problems to feature alongside [Lionel] Messi for example. [Pep] Guardiola was the problem at Barca.

“Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG is just a hypothesis for now, but thinking about it is already extraordinary. I believe that it’s a realistic possibility. A year ago, it would have been crazy, but not now.”

The flamboyant agent then went on to stress that Ibrahimovic is thoroughly enjoying life at PSG.

“He is feeling very well in Paris and at PSG. I have never seen him this happy before. Ligue 1 is a quality league, and those who say it’s too easy for Zlatan are wrong.”

The towering attacker has netted 12 goals in 12 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti’s men so far.

I don't know what I will do after Real Madrid, says Mourinho

Jose Mourinho - Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho – Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has conceded that he has not made plans for when he eventually leaves the club.

After winning La Liga last season, the Portuguese became the first trainer in history to win domestic league titles in Italy, England and Spain.

Mourinho revealed that his hunger to constantly improve is the key to his unprecedented success in football.

“From an early age I knew that to progress in my career I had to go to other countries. I knew I needed to travel, to meet new challenges in order to grow,” Mourinho said to Ronda Ibera Magazine.

“When I started travelling, I aimed for England, Italy and Spain. When I finish up here at Real Madrid, I do not know which path my career will take.

“I’m in a constant struggle with myself. I always try to be the best. More and more, however, I am thinking about others and this is serving me well.

“It is increasingly difficult to coach today. A trainer today cannot be the same as he was 10, 20 or 30 years ago.

“It is an evolving profession. Obligations of a coach go far beyond choosing 11 players, teach tactics or make changes.”

Mourinho then went on to discuss how football has affected his personal life, and spoke about the sacrifices he had to make to be where he is now.

“My son cannot go to college without others knowing who he is. My wife has to tell me to stay in the car while she goes shopping in a store.

“This is the price I have to pay to practice the profession that I love. I have always been linked to football, from the day I was born. I am nearing the age of 50 now, a round number with lots of meaning.

“My city is preparing me a tribute and if I look back, you will have to allow for a smile on my face,” he concluded.

Free in-play bet of up £50 when you bet on the next round of Champions League matches

Champions League matchday four sees several highly anticipated encounters as Europe’s best clubs battle to secure progress to the knockout stages.

To celebrate this action packed two days of football, Bet365 are offering every customer who places a pre-match bet on any of the 16 Champions League matches an in-play free bet, to the value of their largest pre-match bet, up to £50.

All new customers will also be given a 100 per cent bonus on their first deposit up to £200, meaning you can instantly double your betting bankroll before the games even kick off.

To qualify for this offer, simply place a pre-match bet of any of Tuesday or Wednesday’s Champions League matches, and once the games have kicked off, you can stake the same amount as your largest pre-match bet on any one of over 70 in-play markets, safe in the knowledge that if it losses, Bet365 will refund your stake, up to £50.

What makes this offer even better than previous free bet offers is that you can use your in-play bet across any of the Champions League fixtures in the matchday, not just the one your pre-match bet was on.

On Tuesday, Manchester City face a crucial match against Ajax, knowing that they must secure maximum points to keep alive their slim hopes of avoiding being knocked out of the competition at the group stage for a second consecutive year. The home side are available at 4/11 (1.36) to claim three points.

Meanwhile, on the same night Arsenal travel to Schalke also looking to bounce back from a defeat in their previous European match against the Konigsblauen.

Those who believe Arsenal may have too much for their German hosts can back the Gunners at a chunky 11/4 (3.75) with Bet365 pre-match.

If you were to place £10 on Arsenal before the game kicks off then you would be eligible to place another £10 on any of the in-play markets available completely risk free, not just the 70 markets available on the games.

In-play markets can be anything from the numbers of cards, which team will score the next goal, what the final score will be, or even how many corners will be awarded during the match.

This offer is also useful for those punters who like to “lock in” profit, so if Arsenal were to go a goal up in their game, and you’d backed them at 11/4 (3.75), their inplay odds would drop, allowing you to back Schalke and draw (double chance) to ensure a profit no matter what the result. If your free bet lost, it would be refunded.

To take advantage of this offer, simply open a Bet365 account here and make your pre-match selection on any of the 16 games from Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you already have an account, why not check out Goal.com’s betting previews for tips on where the best bets of the evening are. They will be available from Monday onwards.
