The Real Madrid Football Club, also known as Real Madrid, is a multi-sport organization based in Madrid, Spain. Founded on March 6, 1902 under the name of  Sociedad Madrid Foot-Ball Club, participates in the Primera Division of Spain (Liga BBVA since 2008) [6] since 1929, one of the teams that has never fallen. He was part, as a founding member of the European Club Association (formerly G-14), an international organization which brought together the most important and influential clubs in Europe.

History

In 1897 a group of youths from the Free Institution of Education founded the first football club in Madrid, the Sky Ball Foot, [19] who began training in the neighborhood of Vallecas. [20] In 1901 members of the Sky left to found another computer, which they christened Madrid Foot-Ball Club [20] and pulsed Julián Palacios association was legalized on March 6, 1902. [21] In its first extraordinary general meeting are elected John Parents as first officer and president agreed to the team uniform, white shirt and trousers (imitation of the London Corinthians), socks and blue hat and a purple band in Madrid crest embroidered in colors. In 1902, Madrid FC won its first official title, the Central Regional Championship. His Majesty the King (q. D. g.) was served with the utmost indulgence granted the title Royal to the Football Club, of which V. is worthy president, which, hereinafter, may precede the description. First league titles

He also participated in the first two editions of the Champions League, which won them by beating Stade de Reims in the French league in the Parc des Princes in Paris [42] and ACF Fiorentina in Serie A in the same Santiago Bernabeu [43] in 1955-56 and 1956-57 tournaments. Argentina’s Luis Villalonga Carniglia relieved with the additions of Raymond Kopa, [44] José Santamaría [45] and Ferenc Puskás, [46] the team won the championship from 1957 to 1958 and AC Milan beat Italian [47] and back to Reims, [48] in the finals of the European Cup in 1958 and 1959, respectively.
The Yé-Yé

From 1966 to 1967 the league began a new era at Real Madrid. In those years it was forming the Quinta del Vulture: Emilio Butragueño (the “Buzzard”), Michel, Manuel Sanchis, Rafael Martin Vazquez and Miguel Pardeza. In 1981, Real Madrid was defeated in the final of the European Cup against Liverpool FC 1-0.
La Quinta del Vulture (1980-1990)

La Quinta del Vulture was one of the best generations of homegrown players from Real Madrid to win the Second Division title in 1984 with Real Madrid Castilla, the subsidiary of the Club. That generation won five consecutive league titles (1986-1990) Copa del Rey (1989) and a second UEFA Cup title in 1986. In 1985, Luis de Carlos retired from the presidency by his advanced age and was succeeded by Ramon Mendoza (1985-1995). In addition, this generation was part of Mexican striker Hugo Sanchez, from Atletico Madrid. Long back to the top (1990-2000)

Shield
