Barcelona are looking for revenge for the defeat they suffered at the Santiago Bernabeu and the date of the next meeting between the two has been confirmed
The next Clasico clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be played on March 22, Spain’s Professional Football League (LFP) has confirmed.
Schedules for the 28th round of La Liga were revealed earlier on Tuesday, with Luis Enrique’s side set to host Carlo Ancelotti’s men on the third weekend of March in what is only the second Clasico of the season.
The game takes place on a Sunday evening at 21:00 CET and comes just four days after Barca’s Champions League last-16 second-leg game against Manchester City.
Madrid, meanwhile, can prepare for the famous fixture without midweek distractions as they are in action against Schalke the previous week.
Ancelotti’s side currently lead La Liga, but saw their advantage over Barca cut to just a point after their 4-0 defeat to Atletico in the Madrid derby on Saturday and the Catalans’ 5-2 win at Athletic Bilbao the following day.
