Real Madrid transfer news round up 2nd June

It was reported that Hamit Altintop had signed for Turkish club Galatasaray, but the player has since denied this. The Turkish international midfielder told Marca “I have not signed anything. It is not true that I signed with another club. I have not said anything about it.”

After hardly featuring for Real Madrid this season and with international team mate Nuri Sahin now fit, it was thought that Altintop was going to seek regular football elsewhere. Maybe he is in talks but nothing has been agreed. We shall see.

Another midfielder has returned to the Bernabeu, after Roma declined to sign Fernando Gago after his season long loan. The fee of 7 million euros was deemed too much for the defensive midfielder.

One midfielder who seems sure to be on his way is the combative Lass Diarra. Paris Saint-Germain know that he wants to return to France, and the super rich club can offer him regular football and a place in the Champion’s league.

Jose Mourinho wants to bolster the right side of Madrid’s defence and has got Chelsea’s Serbian international defender Branislav Ivanovic at the top of his list. Chelsea will not let the player go easily, though, so Jose has also got his eye on Porto’s Brazilian player Danilo Luiz Da Silva. At only 20-years old he is a player of the future, but Ivanovic is the finished article.

Finally, reports that Mourinho was keen on bringing Didier Drogba to Madrid on a free transfer, but the striker has been offered a fortune by Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua and it looks like the Ivorian will not be re-uniting with his old boss.
